Ready to build a career in highway construction and transportation? NH HCWP’s Transportation Readiness Academy can help!
The Transportation Readiness Academy is a no-cost, hands-on training program designed to help job seekers prepare for entry-level careers in highway construction, maintenance, and related transportation fields.
The first Academy begins November 30, 2026, with training offered over two weeks: November 30–December 4 and December 7–11, 2026.
Participants will build practical skills, learn directly from transportation professionals, and connect with employers looking for their next generation of workers. Training will cover topics including workplace and construction safety, heavy equipment safety, construction math and layout, roadway materials, environmental practices, project fundamentals, and more.
